Free place to get married? (Park?)

@S.Elizabeth.G:  If it’s small enough you could probably get away with saying your ows quickly in a public park or square but most parks are going to require a permit even for small weddings (but they are usually cheap, under $100.)  Some friends of mine did that in Charleston before the holidays.  They used White Point Garden.

@S.Elizabeth.G:  Their pictures are very pretty and apparently a lot of brides use the park for bridal photos so you should be good.  🙂

@S.Elizabeth.G:  Yes! White Point is one of the top places to get married in the country. My FI and I are getting married there. Charleston is a top place pariod to get married. You can also get married on most of the beaches for free. Folly beach is a good place that wiil not be overly crowded.

If you are looking for somewhere in Columbia, down by the river is nice. You may have to get permission so you are not run off by the ranger, but other than that there should not be a fee.

 

 

 

You do know we have a 24 hour waiting period on your license, right?

We’re getting married in Charleston as well (on November 21). Let me know if you would like any suggestions about the area- it’s my favorite city!
