I wish it were anonymous. If I didn't have to give my name and phone number, (required fields on the fill out form) I would so sign up for one. I just don't like the idea of signing up for one, and then have it come to the house with my name plastered all over a ring sizer. It would just scream "PRESSURE" to SO, in my opinion. But, if it were just to show up addressed to "valued customer" at route 123, Anywhere, USA, I'd be more inclined to say, "Oh, look at this silly junk mail. It's a ring sizer. Hmmm, wonder what size my ring finger is." Something non-chalant like that would be more to my liking. Just sayin....... lol
ETA: I don't particularly like giving my phone number out over the internet for random stuff like this, either. It's off-putting unless it's for legit business/legal purposes, etc.
@Wonderwoman217: You'll laugh at how I got around this just to have a jewelry catolog sent to the house: We still get a lot of mail for one of the previous tenants, so I just used her name on the request. I also tried entering "Current Resident" as the first and last names, but felt having her name on it would work just as well. You can enter what you want into the fields - I'm pretty sure it's automated. Also, you can probably fudge on the phone, too, or just tell him it's a telemarketer if you get a call. :)
@Isilme: Hahaha, I never thought about putting the previous tenants' name. We sometimes get mail addressed to them, too. Hmmmm, now you've got me thinking, lol!
Sorry to advocate a form of lying, but it seems like there's such a delecate balance between stating matter of factly that you want to be married, and backing off and letting him decide he does, too. Sheesh. I thought WE were the fairer sex!
