Plan on doing a french fry bar for our late night snack in these cute paper cones. Found a sight that sells these really cute ones. However, not a customer service number to call. They sell 4, 8 and 12 oz ones.
What would be the best size for the late night french fry snack?
forget to send the pic
I'd ask the vendor that is providing the fries.
That would be great--but we are doing it ourselves! Thats why I am asking!
Your guests are going to LOVE you for this. DH and I did french fries and sweet potato fries w/ different dipping sauces during our cocktail hour and they were a HIT. Would you like me to ask my venue/caterer how large the cones were that they used?
I would love that! Think of doing both the regular and sweet potatoes as an option! What dipping sauces did you use and did you pass them or were they are a stand??
Can I please come to your wedding? Yummm..........
@missmature: the fries were in cone paper on a tree stand and then the dips were in mini glass votive holders in fiberglass trays below. I am not sure of all the dips, there were two secret dipping sauces and then there was ranch dressing and ketchup.
@missmature: Oh yum! I love french-fries, so I'd want the biggest size you'd give me! But, realistically, since you're doing it yourself .... maybe a small size so that guests get a "snack" and not a midnight meal. Approximately how many fries (or how many "bites") do you get in the different sizes?
jackie-o---let me know when you find out what size cones your caterer used!
@missmature: One of my favorite dipping sauces for sweet potato fries in maple butter - mmm! And for french fries I like nacho cheese and cajun ranch. Now I'm so hungry! :-)
ETA: I love the small McDonald's fry as a very rare midnight snack, and those are 2.5 oz. I think the 4 oz cone should be good enough for a late night party food.
@missmature: what site did you find the cones on? They are super cute!
How would you keep them warm? Cold french fries are the worst :p
