Def!! This shape is actually very flattering for hourglass (I am an hourglass and I LOVE dresses like this) The sweetheart neckline is very flattering and the way the dress comes out instead of clinging at the tummy will create a nice look.

Plus I used to think that long dresses make short girls look shorter (I’m 5’2) but in fact I look taller in long dresses – bring it on!

Super pretty dress!  She can totally pull it off, as long as she’s comfortable in a strapless 🙂

I think she can pull it off. I’m about the same shape and height.

Oh, if she is chesty, she may want straps.

Hmm… I’m not quite sure what you mean by hourglass shape.  If you mean she’s got boobs, a teeny waist and then a little hippy, but still relatively thin, then absolutely.  If that’s a way of saying “larger than a size 12”, I’d say no… just because that dress only goes up to size 12.

@callielinington: That sounds more like pear shaped than hourglass.

I think this dress is gorgeous–the prints are a lot of fun. Nice work.

I noticed the price, too–eeks! When you say ‘similar dress’, what is it she likes about this one? Is it the neckline, the high bustline, the skirt shape, the fabric, the print? Let us know so we can be on the look for something with the same idea!
