My fiance and I have our hearts set on the Byron Colby Barn for our wedding and also decided we want to get married in the Fall of 2011. Only problem is - their booked every Saturday in October and November. We're not against a Friday or Sunday wedding - but i have a few reservations with each.
With a friday wedding I'm afraid that our ceremony (which will be taking place outside) will be dark. (I looked up the sunset time for the friday date were considering at it's 5:45pm - 6pm is the earliest start time we'd want)... ALSO with friday weddings im nervous about how pictures will work. We don't want to do the "first look" we want to see each other the first time that day when im walking down the aisle.
With a Sunday wedding - i'm nervous about it running too late and people leaving early to get to bed for work on Monday. I'm also nervous about it starting too early and our Pastor not being able to officiate our ceremony because of his duties at our church.
Help please - any advice on tips on a Friday OR Sunday weddings will be helpful! Thanks in advance :)
