I'm (sort of) getting married on Friday, Sept. 28th.   My lovely fiancee is a different religion, so we're doing a hindu ceremony on Friday followed by a dinner, with another typical american ceremony followed by dinner/dancing on Saturday, Sept. 29th. 

We met Sept 27, 2010.....that was the night of our first real date anyway, so having it that weekend has a special meaning for us, AND it's a lucky day on the hindu calendar, so even though I would have preferred a November weekend, it all worked out to have it this weekend in September.

Yup.  I'm a girl that always saw myself in a small, simple wedding that was beautiful but small....like my 50 nearest-and-dearest in attendance.  And now we're looking at at least 150 people for 2 days of festivities.  It's going to be quite interesting.  (said in a scared voice).
