I think it's a pretty cute idea. :) It'll be a fun way of acknowledging the date. FYI My parents got married on April 13th and their still going. ;) ETA: And it was FRIDAY the 13th. Lol
I think its a cute idea! Never heard of it, so its creative! Go for it!
ohhh kay. the salt was a bad idea!! haha :) My bridesmaids passed around buckets of salt and asked the guests to take a pinch and toss it over their shoulder as we left the reception. Our family and older guests followed the directions but our younger college friends decided to throw it at us. it was funny but it got all in our hair, in my dress, almost in our eyes, etc. It was a funny memory but I probably would have changed that! :)

Hi brides! I need some opinions. I'm getting married on Friday the 13th of May and obviously, that day is "bad luck" to some. I am not superstitious at all and neither is my fiance. His younger sister made a joke that the guests should throw salt over their shoulders as we are leaving the reception to wish us luck and to 'rid the bad luck'. I loved the idea! I thought it was a fun way to play on the unlucky date. I want to go for it! My fiance isn't the biggest fan. What do you all think? Creative or tacky? Be honest! :)
