I was hoping to seek some advice from some of you.
To make a long story short- one of my really good friends found out she is pregnant- the catch is… Since she has a tiny frame (5 ft 1 and 100 lbs) she didn’t show until recently…so she is wayyyyyy further than she thought…. She’s 6 months along!
I was wondering if you bees had any good ideas on what to include in a little gift basket…things for either mama or baby? What would you want or need?

for now or for after baby? If you mean now, maybe a gift card to motherhood or something like that. It’s not cheap coming up with a whole new wardrobe, I’m sure!
for after, at most showers/gatherings, everyone buys a cute newborn outfit. Which, awesome, but the baby needs more than cute clothes that will fit for 6 weeks. I either go next size, next season on clothes or a gift card for diapers.

xstitchbride425: I was thinking things for baby when baby arrives.. And some stuff for mom now…(cocoa butter, pedicure gift card , etc.)
i I was thinking of doing like a “newborn 101/mommy/daddy” basket….??? I have no idea…?? Just bouncing ideas off of bees 🙂

meowmeow071914: that sounds really cute! I’m sure her tired feet would love a pedicure too. I think diapers or a gift card for diapers would be helpful-newborns go through about 10 a day, and they are not cheap. Maybe wipes, bath accessories, and, if you live close enough, tickets for hot meal delivery. Or, you could give frozen meals she can just throw in the microwave when she’s exhausted.

Baby wipes, diapers, bibs, bup cloth, bath stuff for babies, pacifiers. I always seem to loose my son pacifiers.
