If you can swing it with your finances and its a good deal and worth it then DO IT!! Especially if you LOOOOVE it, if you dont LOOOVE it then dont buy it.. or if you can find something similar for cheaper then i say shop around.

Amazing!!!! I love the hood/collar that is attached to it – that’s what makes it so unique for me. I have a lot of people in the SCA/ Rennie faire circuit and I’ve not seen anything like this. One of them is even a corset maker himself.

You’ll get a ton of use out of it so I say go for it!

    First off–BEAUTIFUL. Is it boned?

Second–You have no idea how close I almost came to picking cupcakes. I am pregnant and now I want a cupcake more than ANYTHING.

@Nona99:  If you don’t buy it, will you keep thinking about it? If the answer is yes, just buy it!

    YES, BUY IT.

I saw one of these the other day and immediately needed to but one. I didn’t, sadly. My normal faire corset doesn’t fit me anymore, and then one faire here closed and another is floundering…then, my cousin bought some land and started her own.

Seriously, if you’re going to wear this 7-10 times a year, get it. I threw $300 at a 100% silk bellydancer outfit that I’ve worn tons of times and don’t regret it at all.

Those colors don’t sound right together, honestly.

The hood is visually interesting but would probably bug the heck out of me after the first 5 minutes of wear. Having a hood hooked so low seems constricting and awkward, no matter how neat it looks.

But if those aren’t issues for you, and it’s truly affordable, go for it.

@Nona99:  It’s beautiful, and it definitely sounds like you will get a lot of wear out of it if you plan on going to a lot of events. I love the hood on it, it’s so unique!

@Nona99:  gahhh i LOVE Ren FaIRE!! it just passed over here where i live.. I think if you do the white shirt underneath i think it will all work and bring the colors together, especially if its a cream color.

@Nona99:  Definitely buy it. Sometimes you just have to splurge on those once-in-a-lifetime purchases. Also, thank you for the cupcake option. Thanks to you, I remembered that today is “free cupcake day” at the cupcake truck that drives around my neighborhood. Wooo!
