I am overwhelmed. I love Savannah and Tybee Island and I completely want to get married in that area but I dont want the over done wedding in a square or on the beach. I want it more unique. But everything is either too expensive or doesnt hold the amount of guests that we need. (apx 100). Fell in love with Tybee Island Chapel but for the amount of money you spend you dont get anything :( Just not logical. PLUS my family will be traveling from out of state! HELP!!!!

I live in Los Angeles and planning a Savannah wedding from afar. I used to live there while in college so that helped some. Maybe I can help you.

Do you have a budget in mind?

We are getting married in the Garden at the Davenport Museum House. I love that it is outdoors and has the Savannah charm but not so public like in the squares.

We are having the reception at Vic's on the River. This was a great option for us because they hold over 100 people and it is a restaurant so I didn't need to worry about coordinating catering. The food is incredible and they have different menu options in different budgets for plated dinners as well as options for stations and buffet. They're great to work with and the space is really beautiful. Other big bonuses are that black chivari chairs, white, black linens and centerpieces are included!
