Honestly I thought about telling him not to get me anything. We're already on a tight budget so we don't need to buy each other gifts. A card is fine... or nothing.
hmmm he probably won't think of getting me something, we're two idiots when it comes to wedding traditions. I didn't know either that you're supposed to get each other a gift other than this huge promise! Plus, we'll be on travel, so it would only mean more stuff in the luggage...
I got him an engraved stopwatch that has a reference to a song we listened to in a diner on the weekend we met.
I'm **hoping** to get him a laptop. He's a big tech guy but has been soo good about not spending $$ to save for the wedding, so I'm hoping to get him that. I think it would be sweet since he is sacrificing getting a new laptop for wedding savings, I'd love to do it for him. We aren't getting married till August, so I'm not sure I'll be able to save enough, but thats my thought right now!
I'm planning on getting my fella Navy coloured "Initially Me" cufflinks and a matching tie slide with his initials "JM" on them! I think he'll really dig having something a bit spesh to go with his jazzy navy suit! Although I'll have to subtly insist on him getting a shirt that requires cufflinks! Hehehe!

I have no idea what I'm going to give him yet but we've discussed my gift and I think he's gonna give me my something blue...we're discussed a ring that I really like or an ankle bracelet.
I bought a 'Zookeeper for the Day' experience at London Zoo for my fiance as my gift to him, which we did this summer. We got to feed giraffes, monkeys of several types, tigers, penguins.. it was great!
I am thinking of getting my FI cuff links with older looking maps of either Italy or Greece on them and a matching tie slide holder thingy (oh yeaah, I am totally up on knowing what's fancy bits of menswear is. heh) If we could afford it, I would give him his dream vacation of 2-4 weeks in countries on the Mediterranean- mostly spent in Italy and Greece, but with trips to Turkey and Egypt as well. But, we can't afford to go anywhere for our honeymoon, much less to Europe!
We actually didn't exchange wedding gifts. We decided that our honeymoon was our gift to each other. We're not super sentimental and were pretty stretched for money (paid ourselves) so we figured that would be enough. :)
I'm definitely getting him cufflinks that looks like a drum kit because he loves to play the drums. I'd like to do something else but not sure what.
I want to get my fiance cufflinks (he's been wanting some for a while now) but am still trying to figure out how to make them mean something special. There are some amazing Esty sellers that make custom cufflinks...so I'll probably go through them to make it personalized.
I would love if he got me some sort of jewelry to wear the day-of, like a bracelet. I am giving him boudoir pictures as a gift and will send him something the morning of, like cologne.
I'm going to get him sky diving lessons...he'll be very very excited. As for what I'd like...I have no idea...I thought of his gift so he's stuck figuring out mine haha
I already bought my FI his wedding gift! I'm so so so excited to give it to him. It is a Citizen's Eco Drive watch! It was originally over $500 but I got it for about $300 at a Macy's one day sale. It is so beautiful. I had to give it to my brother to keep it for me because I know I would be way too tempted to give it to him before the wedding.
I told him we were doing wedding day gifts, but spending around $50, so it wouldn't be too much. I got him Ohio State cufflinks to wear the day of the wedding. I have no clue what he will get me. I am a little curious, maybe he won't get me anything, which I would be fine with, but I do secretly want something!
hmm, i'd appreciate whatever he gave me..be it a card, diamonds, or whichever...=)
He is getting me an additional eternity band to wear as a second wedding band, which is what I asked him for.
I was thinking about cufflinks with his initials. I'm just not sure when he'd wear them after the wedding!
I gave my DH a gift on our wedding day - I gave it to him a couple days before. I got him a brick at Angel Stadium with our names & date engraved on it and we got a replica one to keep at home. I was going to give him the replica one on our wedding day, but the brick was put in before our wedding and I couldnt wait to show him, so I told him about it when we got to the stadium for a game and we found it together.
I'm on the boudoir bandwagon too! I'm hoping he'll get me something sweet, like a heartfelt card, but I wouldn't mind some small diamond studs to wear in my second ear holes on the wedding day.
I would have enjoyed something from the heart and something I could keep as a keepsake! He gave me a topaz ring... I love it but it's too big and I haven't gotten it resized yet, I should do that!
