@nattiejeanne:  Did you speak up at the shop? Ask to speak to the manager? Ask for them to be redone?

@nattiejeanne:  Go back tomorrow and ask for them to fix them. I’ve had similar horrible experiences and it’s not fun. I once went to a place and left with messed up nails, like way too thick on some and super thin on others. So thin that when I pressed on the side it chipped. I went back to have them fix it and ended up getting someone who did a way better job. I even tipped the person who fixed them. It stinks and it’s a bit embarrassing to go back, but it’s worth it to have them fix the mess.

oh that sucks!! I hate that it costs so much to get a manicure & they really do rush the process. Most nail salons i’ve been to are all about quantity not quality. Mani/Pedis were the first thing i cut when i needed to start saving money. I just do them myself now

@nattiejeanne:  Ugh, that’s the worst. I think we’ve all at one point had to redo them ourselves. I got my nails done at my old place back home a couple weeks ago and I’ll need to get them filled VERY soon, but I’ve had a few bad experiences with places around me now. There was one good place that I was going to where I live now but the last guy to do my nails was a bit inappropraite in telling me his life story in embarrassing jail time detail, so I haven’t been back. Hopefully, we both have good experiences next time!

Uggghhh…I’ve had this experience way too many times. I even switched salons about 6 months ago and the new place is starting to get sloppy now. I end up not even getting the acrylics painted. I have them do a fill and shape and when I get home, I have a dremel tool that DH got me from Sally Beauty Supply and I fix them how I like them. I am picky too and I like my nails thin…so they look natural. I think alot of salons don’t get that concept. It’s SUPER frustrating when nobody there understands English!!!! I just want to scream at the top of my lungs sometimes.
