uh oh :( I'm supposed to meet with her tomorrow to consider her as our photographer. How was her communication leading up to the wedding? The day of? Does it state the turnaround time in her contract? Some photographers give a range as some seasons (as you know :-) are way busier than others. Did she put a teaser on your blog?

OH oops - I forgot to say that my wedding is a destination wedding so I need someone super reliable. I hope others chime in! If not, if you search for her name you'll find the names of people who have recommended her on the boards and you can PM them :-)
Hmm...we ended up booking another photographer, but did contact Jonilyn initially. Not that it's a good excuse, but sometimes photographers get totally bogged down in emails during wedding season. Have you given her a call? If not, call her! Good luck with that.

A 3 month delay and non-responsiveness to emails is not a good sign. I agree that there should be something in the contract about turn around time so make sure you check that. And if she's not responding to your emails, then definitely try calling. You may want to try to search around on a variety of wedding message boards (in addition to Weddingbee!) to see if anyone else is having problems and how they resolved it. Good luck.

I wanted to have her as our photographer for our wedding but she would never respond on time so i wasnt comfortable chosing her. i spoke to other brides who did hire her and they said she's extremely slow in getting back to you or communicating with you but at the very end she always pulled through.

Any other brides using Jonilyn as their photographer?
Our wedding was over 3 months ago and we haven't received our photos back from Jonilyn. Not only that, but she has been completely unresponsive to my (SEVERAL) emails. I did get one about a month ago saying that she had hired an assistant, but since then I haven't heard anything.
I find her lack of professionalism totally unsettling. I just want our wedding photos. I mean, seriously, how much longer are we supposed to wait?
Has anyone else had a similar experience with her?
