You don’t need to be BDing so often, in fact, BDing too often in the fertile window can impact his sperm quality. You are better off BDing every other day. For what it’s worth, we BDd once in the fertile window the cycle I finally got pregnant. I also avoided temping because I thought it would add stress, but when I finally did start it took the weight of wondering when I was ovulating off of my shoulders. I could finally know for sure, and discovered I was ovulating earlier than I thought. Turns out my CM, O pains, sore boobs, etc, were not true indicators. It’s a tough road, I hope you don’t have to wait too much longer, and congrats on your new home!

If ypu are stressed or sick or whatever, ovulation can be delayed, which would not neccessarily shorten your luteal phase, just put your period back aa bit. Best of luck!  I would suggest every other day instead of every day.  Less pressure and generally more sperm.

Well let me give you a real life (somewhat embarrassing) example. My DH would take care of business on his own sometimes if he thought we’d be doing the deed later that day because he wanted to be able to last longer. He didn’t even think about it causing an issue with his supply. Lo and behold when he admitted this to me and I told him to stop doing that, we got pregnant right away. It took us 18 cycles and I’m not blaming him solely, we also had poor timing some months, I have hypothyroidism, and low progesterone, but seriously, I’m convinced that better supply = better chances. We BD’d 2 days befor ovulation and that did the trick.

It’s possible your body is still recovering from the CP and that your cycles are out of whack because of it.  You may not be ovulating again yet, or it may just be delayed.  Delayed ovulation doesn’t usually shorten your luteal phase, so if you don’t already have a short luteal phase, that shouldn’t matter.

Like a PP, I also got pregnant on the cycle we only DTD once during the fertile window, (after trying for two years, too!).  I honestly thought we had NO CHANCE that cycle, so I was pretty surprised by my BFP.  You aren’t out until AF shows.

I don’t really think ED or EOD lessens the chances of getting KU that much.  A friend of mine admitted that after 1 month of TTC not working, they DTD ED, sometimes multiples times a day, and she got KU her second cycle TTC.

As for me personally, I’m in my 13th cycle TTC and EOD, EOOD, ED, 2xday doesn’t matter apparently. Admittedly, we had some crappy timing the first few months.

Also, O pains can happen days before or after you actually O, so unless you temp or use OPKs you can never know for sure when you actually O.

I agree with pp. opks and/or temping should reduce your stress if you’re bd all the time and are wondering. Id definitely give it a go. It certainly made me feel better. I TTCd for nearly 2 years with a few MCs in the middle so know the stress of a mc . I’m so sorry for your loss. The one that actually worked for me in the end (Fx I’m not 12 weeks yet!) was kind of an accident and the only time we bd that cycle!!

+1 to everything jny1179: said!

Charting helped me understand my cycle so much and actually relieved some of my stress, but its definitely not for everyone. We BD EOD from CD10-CD25 (I have long irregular cycles) so I know how exhausting it is. But once charting confirmed O, we stopped BD’ing! Which was a huge relief.

You’re doing everything you can so don’t be too hard on yourself. Good luck to you in your journey. FX you get that sticky baby soon!
