One of my bridesmaids went with Fiance to pick out his tux just over a week ago. Men’s Wearhouse clearly knew our wedding date because, after I bought my dress at David’s Bridal, THEY CALLED EVERY DAY UNTIL WE MADE THE APPOINTMENT and, of course, we confirmed the wedding date AGAIN when we made the appointment. Fiance tried on a couple of tuxes, let the store know which one he liked, confirmed they could get it in his size and arrangements were made for him to come back with his groomsmen.
Today, Fiance goes back to the store to confirm and pay for the rental and they tell him THE SUIT IS NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL AFTER OUR WEDDING DATE. Not because they’re out of stock but because ‘it’s a new style’ and they were never going to have it in stock before September.
Sorry for the vent, I’m just mad. Mad at myself for not pushing Fiance harder to sort out the tux situation further in advance and mad at Men’s Wearhouse for not being up front about the suit’s availability.
