Hey ladies! We've finalized our venue and date, and now I'm trying to find colors that will work. Wedding will be May 4, 2013, and venue is a barn/outdoor pavillion area that is surrounded by woods. It's beautiful! Theme will be vintage and country. I can't seem to get any help in deciding what colors to use, because my fiance just says whatever I like is fine...which is a typical man's response which is perfectly fine. I'm open to any colors, but will be incorporating burlap and wood accents so whatever colors I choose must be able to go with that. However, my family doesn't seem interested and even suggested eloping. I thought weddings were supposed to be a happy time, especially for the bride's mother!! Just getting so frustrated with all of this! I need help!

Do you have any preferences/ etc. I think Navy and pale pink would be nice, but there are tons of good options!

What kind of vibe do you want?  Bright and colorful, soft and romantic, etc?  I think that will help you narrow it down.  Our venue sounds kind of similar and we're doing a lot of bright festive colors (aqua, fuschia, yellow, peach).  This is partially to go with our flowers (a bunch of bright wildflowers - zinnias, dahlias, sunflowers, etc).

    Go to www.theperfectpalette.com

Scroll down on the right, click on one of your favorite colors and it will bring up many palettes using that color.

You really don't have to worry about the burlap and wood tones. They are neutral and will go with anything.
