@linnylou_88:  full full full! If cost is not an issue that’s what I would choose! 🙂

I vote for full.  I have a half and it spins constantly and gets misaligned with my e-ring.  I will eventually get it soldiered, but have yet to do so.

@linnylou_88:  It’s funny, my e-ring and my wedding band are both the same size, but only my band spins.  I kind of hate having to solder it because sometimes I like to wear the band alone (this is a recent trend of mine).

@linnylou_88:  I love the look of full but a half eternity band is going to hold up better over time.  Diamonds on the underside of full eternity bands take a beating and are more likely to fall out or need resetting over time.

I wouldn’t go full only because of the resizing issue. I plan on looking into 3/4 when we buy my wedding band. Is that an option?

@linnylou_88:  Bezel and channel set are definitely better than prongs.  The wear and tear also depends on whether you wear your rings all the time and how physical you are.  So long as you know going in that you will likely have to reset or repair the band at some point, then you should be fine with an eternity band.

@linnylou_88:  I started wearing just the band alone because I need to get my lazy butt to the jeweler’s to have my e-ring examined.  Now that I’m married, I am learning to appreciate the simplicity of wearing one ring.  Here’s my beauty:

I would go 3/4 or 7/8 (just a small sizing bar) so you can have the look of an eternity without damaging the underside as much and also have the ability to resize. Love the ring!
