I am a UK bride. Getting married in October 2012. I am a UK size 18/20 (20/22 US?) and I am REALLY loving the 8502 Justin Alexander (not that I am sure my budget will stretch!) I am not going dress shopping until January next year and I don’t know how to find out about sizes.
Have any of you had a Justin Alexander dress in a larger size and if so, please can you post pics??

I’m a fellow UK bride. Justin Alexander go up to a UK size 32, so you shouldn’t have any problem getting that dress in your size. 😀
Plus a UK 18-20 is a US 14-16 and really isn’t that big! I haven’t tried on that dress, but it looks like a shape that will look fantastic on larger sizes anyway.
Lovely to “meet” you!

I’m not a fuller figure bride, but this is my dress. If you haven’t seen this in person, it’s actually a natural waist instead of a drop waist. I would call a bridal salaon that carries it to ask what sizes they can order and how much the dress can be altered. I have a feeling it would be very flattering. I added a sparkly belt to highlight my waist. Good luck!

I’m 5’6, 190lbs, so even though I shop in “regular” stores, I consider myself to be chubby/full-figured/”bigger”/what-have-you.
And here’s my Justin. It’s a 14.
I know you probably meant pictures ON brides, but…uh…it doesn’t actually fit yet.
Fortunately, I’ve got more than enough time to figure out how to make this happen! Hope it helped…

I tried on two Justin Alexander Dresses..and I believe I tried on the one that you’re in love with.. I’m a plus size gal.. so my size is in the higher range.. I’ll post the pics so you can see what they look like. I did not pic either one of these dresses..although I was close. The first Pic is the one I believe you’re talking about..and the 2nd is straight from justin alexanders plus size line.

Yep the first one is THE ONE! I love it and I am reassured now I’ve seen it on; it’s lovely and really flattering 🙂 Do you mind me asking what size you are so I can compare myself? Does that make sense??
Ooooooo now I am getting excited 🙂
Thank you soooo much xxxxx

The first dress that i’m wearing isnt my size, but had I picked it, it would have came in my size. … but the 2nd dress is closer to my size and I believe it was a 30.. so I’m in the upper sizes in plus size dresses. The one you love is really beautiful, it’s very flowy and its made out of all satin. Both dresses are very flattering… they make me look smaller than I am, which was a nice feeling!! I really liked the one you love.. it was just way out of my price range!! 🙂 I’m really glad that I could help you!

I haven’t tried on that particular dress, but I have tried on a couple JA dresses. These were sample size 12s, and I’m a street size 18- we clipped it to my bra in the back so I could try them on!
