Fun & Modern cupcake stand : wedding cupcake stand cupcake stand cake modern fun Cupcake Stand BottomI recently made this cupcake stand for my upcoming summer wedding.  It was super easy and fairly cheap!  All you need are different sized mirrors (found at your local craft store), candlestick holders, and paper that matches your wedding colors/theme!  A little glue, and you're all set.  I haven't glued it all together, as I am waiting until it gets closer to the wedding date for storage reasons, but I wanted to just see how it would all look.  Let me know what you think!Fun & Modern cupcake stand : wedding cupcake stand cupcake stand cake modern fun P1280082

Very pretty. Is it stable enough?

That's awesome!! I like how you put a pattern on the bottom of each mirror, so it's reflected in the one below it. That's very neat. :)

Very pretty, you did a great job!

I'd be too concerned with it getting knocked around during transport/getting knocked over at the reception to go this route thogh!

The candle stick holders will be epoxy glued to the mirrors.  That way, it will be stable when we put the cupcakes on it.  Right now without the glue, it stands pretty stable.  You would just have to make sure everything is in the center and balanced, then glued.

lovely!  stealing this idea.  i think i'm going to go with some sort of fabric wrap for the bottom. orrr....anyone have any sources for fancy sticky contact paper?

what height are the candlesticks?  may actually go with wide squares for stabilization.

making 2 - 3 of them.  thinking 2 with round mirrors, 1 square in the center.  the center would be a larger with the top tier to accomodate an 8" sq. cake for the two of us.

how many cupcakes would something like this hold?
