I saw a great cover band in Atlantic City - Go Go Gadjet. I wish I could have them for my wedding, but by the time we saw the band, I had already gotten a great DJ for the wedding.
They're mostly in PA but they do travel. Check 'em out! They did everything from Michael Jackson to Jay Z to Miley Cyrus to Bon Jovi to Red Hot Chili Peppers...
I LOVE Dead Poets, and have seen them playing many times here in Arlington, VA, but they're actually located closer to you, and have concerts in South Jersey all the time. They're the best cover band I've seen so far (pop, rock, alternative, old school, 80's and they do hiphop too!)
If my wedding wasn't in Rio, I would totally get them for my reception.
They're really cool too, and always chitchat between breaks with the people at the bar, so they would be perfect for a wedding event. And people ALWAYS dance at their concerts.

I can't say enough good things about them, but, it's worth the trip to south Jersey to see them if you are just curious. You won't regret it, I promise!
I saw this band a couple of times down the shore and at Just Jake's in Montclair and they are ridiculously good! http://www.hyperactivemusic.com/
They quoted me $5500 when I was looking for pricing last year.
Has anyone heard of any in North Jersey! We're looking for more of a classic rock type band..

Anyone work with a great band in North Jersey? We like The Nerds but can't afford them. We like Top 40, Cover songs of Classic Rock/Alternative (Bruce! Bon JOvi, etc) Hip Hop and Pop Songs for the reception. Anyone have other suggestions?
