Lots of good options.
I'm sure you've already thought of this, but if you include wine, make sure it is a twist off cap as guests and hotel rooms may not be equipped with a wine opener.
@BlueChampagne: good call! i did not think of that, but will make sure i check before i buy them!
What about also including something like granola bars or power bars? After a long drive, some protein/energy would be welcome :) Plus, you can add cute labels or stickers on the packaging!
@teamboddye: hmmm... quaker chewy granola bars might work...i had not thought of that idea, but i like it, and it's kid friendly!
breath mints are doing better than i expected...wish i would have given the option of breath mints vs. gum...but i think i'll stick with lifesavors spearmint. that seems to be a hit. anyone have a better idea?
I checked a bunch of stuff :) I love snack-y foods!
If you want a grown up version of fruit snacks, have you considered dried fruit? It'll be pricier, but is delicious!
Question about cheese (sorry if you addressed this in your first post, which I didn't see): cheese usually needs to be refrigerated ... how long will it be out in the bags, what if people don't see it, will there be fridges in the rooms, etc. :)
@daydreamwanderer: good question. The cheese will be a shelf-stable cheese spread (like Rondele) or smoked cheese (like the type that comes in gift packages and needs no refrigeration)
Good idea...little packets of craisins might be a good option.
Don't drink wine (or beer) but I would prefer the cheese (with sausage/pepperoni sticks and crackers), potato chips (any flavor) and fruit snacks. Any of the juices would be great, however Capri Sun only appeals to children.
@Ember78: i don't know. i drink capri sun all the time. it's 100% juice! =) I'm 27.
I checked most of the food, so I'm not much help at narrowing it down. What about water? I like the juice but sometimes you just want water, and my hubby can't really drink juice or alcohol.
@artbee: haha. i think i will put in a variety. if money was no object, i'd load them up cause i love snacks too. especially late at night after the restaurant in the hotel would be closed! lol

Narrowing my options.
You ladies really are the best. Your answers on my first poll gave me invaluable insight!
So moving on to the second and final poll:
If you recieved a bag at check-in (after a 3-4 hour drive) that included the following foodies, which (check all that apply) would you be likely to consume?
(Check also if a member of your party is likely to consume as these will be one bag per room. All guests were invited to bring significant others, a plus one, and/or their children).
Thanks for helping!!
