We thought about doing this one but our wedding ended up being much more formal than originally anticipated.
Boy met girl.

Wedding details
I thought it was cute. :)
I saw one on letterpress light's web site that simply said
"Jane and John invite you to celebrate their marriage
June 19, blah blah"
I never considered that wording before, but somehow to me just getting rid of the whole "the pleasure of your company is requested" line just really made me happy. We may still use last names.
Ours just said
Miss Moo Lastname
and
Mr Moo Lastname
invite you to join them as they celebrate their first day of married life at their wedding reception
Venue
Date
Time
Etc
For our destination wedding, I used a quote at the top ("Paradise is always where love dwells - Jean Paul Richter") in small type, followed by our names in large type, and then "Please join us in paradise to dance in the sand as we commit to sharing our lives in marriage." Below that are all of the date/time/location details.

Fi and I consider ourselves pretty fun people (we're having a bounce house, how could we not be fun).
I hate the traditional wedding invite wording like "together with their parents blah blah blah." (Which doesn't even make sense for us since FI and I are paying for everything).
I don't like the ones on off beat bride. They're too crunchy for me.
Is there anything fun out there?
I already purchased my invites because I got them for a freaking steal, so I'm afraid they're too traditional for a "fun" wording:
Any ideas, ladies?
