So I've always been pretty traditional / conservative when it comes to my nail polish colors. My collection has soooo many shades of pinks, reds, burgandys, and maroons.
But lately, bright, fun, non-traditional colors have been popping up everywhere and I decided to join in on the trend (only on my toes though!)
So I've tried OPI's "Honk If You Love OPI" and have bought "Ski Teal We Drop" for my next pedicure. Yay for fun colors!
So, what are your favorite "fun" nail polish colors?
Ooh, I just bought some sparkly purple and sparkly teal Essie nail polish today and can't wait to put it on my toesies!
I like the crackle nail polish by Sally Hansen.
Who's the cool kid who matches their nails to their belt? ;)

Here's a manicure I did on myself a few weeks ago...
It's OPI Light my Sapphire on most of them and Essie Master Plan on the ring finger
For the summer, my favorite was Essie Turquoise and Caicos

Essie's Russian Roulette is one of my favorite go-tos. It's a sassy red that's perfect for fall!
Aaaand, fail. Just realized that's not a very "fun" color :) Ha. Oops. I love Essie's Chinchilly and Butter London's British Racing Green.
Yup! You brush on a thick coat and then hold the magnet on the cap over top for about five seconds, and it separates into the lines. When you take the magnet away the lines soften and it dries into the cool wave effect. It's fantastic, and I'm completely addicted. The name's Magneffect by Layla, if anyone's tempted to run out and look for it (I know all my friends did).

I'm really big on dark blue right now...I'm also kinda feeling Essie's new winter collection, particularly this one "School of Hard Rocks":
ETA: Not my hand...stolen from google. I do like her ring though, whoever she is. Haha.
@candy apple: I agree...Chinchilly's a really cool color. Sometimes it's gray, sometimes it's purple. Definitely one of my favorite "fun" colors.

@littlegraykitten: I love it :) It's fun, but it is also neutral, so it doesn't look too wild at work!

@totheislnds: Oh my goodness! That is a beautiful color! I've always wanted my "something blue" to be blue toenails, and I think that is the perfect color for that!
This thread is making me want to go out and buy all those fun colors right now!!! LOVE Essie.
I'm always experimenting with designs and colors (on the weekends, anyway). Here are a couple of pictures. I'm not super-fantastic at it or anything, but it's still fun.

Right now I'm wearing Sinful Colors "Cloud 9" which is a sparkly orange (for Halloween). I love the fun colors.

@candy apple: and @littlegraykitten: I saw the Essie winter collection at Target the other day and really liked the colors in it. I've never tried Essie polish (always been an OPI girl) but I might have to check out one of the winter collection shades.
@linguo42: The magnetic nail polish sounds really fun! A bit pricey (at least to me) but the images I googled look really cool.
@Mrs.KMM: Oh! Haha. I thought about that as soon as I posted it, because I frequent beauty blogs and that's how the nails always look when they post about new nail polishes.
Currently wearing OPI's It's Totally Fort Worth It (shimmery lavender/silver). I'm thinking about putting a coat of black shatter over it for some Halloween spirit/contrast.
I definitely went out and bought the magnetic polish Friday. It was surprisingly easy to do and very cool looking. Sadly I did not take pics before I took it off last night.
I don't have any pictures of it on but these are two of my favorite fun colors :)
@Mrs.KMM: Yeah, it's definitely not cheap, but since I don't buy expensive makeup or hair care products, I figure I deserve a splurge now and then :)
I like purples, greens, and silvers the best. I've never been fond of pink or yellow/orange or many of the blue shades though--but I have turquoise by Essie on my nails right now.

I wish I could show you guys a pic but stupid phone acting up. Right now im rocking a dark red it called under your spell. and on my middle finger it is black glitter like color called black mail so cute. FI is mad says it looks goth but i love it

@Mrs Grape: Those are so neat! Just curious, how do you do your opposite hand? My left always comes out decent, but when I use my left hand to do my right-hand nails... well, it's not so nice lol
