There’s all kinds of things to do!

We are having a dj, open bar, cigar bar, candy buffet, photo booth & an outdoor seating/firepit area.

We are also doing a late night snack later in the night.

Other things I’ve seen are food trucks, other types of food buffets [mashed potatoes, icecream, crepe station, ect], jumbo lawn games.

Kaylaa:  I was planning on having games at my wedding for those who do not like to dance, such as jenga, corn hole, and connect four. I saw it on a blog at another wedding a love love loved the idea.

One of my co-workers is having an artist come to her reception and have a painting performance where they are going to paint the reception taking place. It sounds awesome and really ties in with her European theme.

jenilynevette:  Jumbo lawn games sound fun!  I wanted to have cornhole at my wedding and was told by my family that it was tacky 🙁

We made a lounge area near the dancefloor for our guest to gather.  It was a huge hit and was never empty all night!

We also did a late night snacking station with gourmet sandwiches.

I just went to a wedding in May that had cotton candy on lighted sticks. I was so happy!  They also had soft pretzels (both late night snacks)

Our reception package includes a chocolate fountain. We’ll have marshmallows, strawberry, and poundcake pieces for guests to put on a skewer and dip into the chocolate fountain. I’m pretty excited! 😀

My daughter had flip books at her reception.  Everyone had so much fun with that!  Fun doing it and fun watching other people.
