We had a super fun and casual rehearsal dinner! We just had a BBQ out on the beach.
We had tossed around different ideas (i.e. mini-golfing and a pizza party or BBQ followed by a trip to a karaoke bar).
Good luck! I'm super glad we had such a fun, laid-back dinner -- it was great to relax a bit before the big day!
That sounds like a fun idea. What about a YMCA pool or something, then you have the gym, etc too. We had ours at an outdoor bar/grill with a tiki theme. It was really fun and relaxed.

My future in-laws want to have a fun rehearsal dinner. Their idea was to rent out a community gym (basketball gym, not weight room gym) and then bring in beach decorations (surf boards, kite boarding kites, a small hobie cat sail boat, etc.) They want to eat on one 1/2 of the gym and be able to play on the other half. Does anyone have any rehearsal dinner ideas that might still be fun, but maybe a little less decorated like a middle school dance? :)
