I KNOW!! Especially peanut butter cups, they used to be one single cup that was the same size as the cups that came in the large candy bar. Now they are definitely smaller. So disappointing!!

Yeah the ‘fun size’ is different than the ‘bite size’ the ‘mini bites’ and anything else they have come up with. I’m pretty sure it’s a cross between all the nutrition stuff being a hot topic and making more money selling less product. They just keep getting smaller and smaller and costing the same price if not more. =/

I do like the snickers bites though… omg. >.<

First, thanks for posting this.  Now I want to go get some Halloween candy.  I’m pregnant, sick with a nasty cold, and bored since DH has a friend over playing video games…and now I have to haul my beached whale of an ass to the store!

And, there is nothing “fun sized” about the little candies, even when they were bigger back in the day.  Fun sized would be “king size.”

I feel like its more economical to just buy big bars from Costco And give one per kid instead of buying the “fun size” ones and feeling like I have to give a handful!

@Fall_In_Love22:  Fun sized would be King Sized. YES. Exactly. And I also now want to go back to the store and get snacks.

@MexiPino:  That’s what we’ve always done.  When I still lived at home, my parents always had the full size candy bars for Halloween.  Their house is very popular in the neighborhood.  Now, DH and I do the same.  It’s not that much more expensive to give out the full size stuff, plus the kids (and parents) LOVE it.

@jny1179:  I’ll give you $5 if you pick up a bag of Snickers for me. Laughing

@Fall_In_Love22:  I have a friend who gets those giant pixie sticks each year. It comes out to fifty cents per kid but she figures the six dollars for a bag of candy doesn’t get her through twelve kids anyway. We are still trying to find out if kids in our complex go door to door.
