I looooooove baking! I am not that skilled though!
I can't wait to bake cupcakes for the superbowl hehehe
I may try out a sugar cookie recipe with royal icing that we've thought about using as favors for our guests. Putting them on lollipop sticks is a cute idea and neat way to display them.
all of those are so so so cute :)
I want to make one of them...I don't know what though! I will more then likely make some cupcakes with pink frosting and sprinkles hehe
oh man, those are sooo sooo cute..i wish i baked more though..hmmm maybe i'll try something for valentine's day...
I love the idea of presentation being just as cute as the cookies/cupcakes/candies...
omg those pies look so delish....and that choco berry thing...wowza.
Aww! I LOVE this stuff! I'm not a big baker (working on that), but I do make Brownie Thins every Valentine's Day for everyone. They're not particularly festive, but they are SO DELICIOUS YOU WANNA DIE. Here's the recipe.
@ sulli: I'm big on presentation too! A few years ago, All I wanted was a heart-shaped box to present my baked goods in. I could not find the right one anywhere! (I have this problem where my image is so specific that it doesnt exist) So I made one instead.Presentation definitely makes things seem like they taste better.
@ honeybear: Although I'm a decent baker, I do not know how successful I'd be in creating these festive treats...seems like a bit of trial and error to me. (Plus who can really outbake Martha Stewart anyway?)
Cool! Thanks for this, my hubby looooves sweets, and Martha makes the coolest stuff!
off topic: Does anyone know a good way to mail homemade cookies/valentines? Is a fedex box my only option?
2 years ago I made my FI red velvet cake balls with chocolate on the outside then I got a red plate and arranged the cake balls in a heart on the plate!! He loved it!
I like to bake also. This V-DAy I am making some Sweetheart Snickers Fudge
I LOVE stuff like this. I'm also going to be baking for my FH... This is what I'm doing.
Instead of candies, they're little mini cupcakes!! I'm obsessed with this cupcake book and have been using it for special holidays.
Enjoy!! And thanks for sharing :]

@Miss Chocolate: oooh is that from "Hello, Cupcake!" ...? My FI just bought me that book the other day! I'm super excited to start baking with it

Is anyone thinking about Valentine's Day already? I can't help it when there are so many cute baking recipes out there. Martha Stewart has some really fun, adorable and delicious-looking recipes for Valentine's Day:

Women's Day does as well: http://www.womansday.com/recipefinder/search/valentines_day-occasion
I love baking, and for risk of sounding like a traditional, 1950s housewife-type, although I am a feminist, I still love baking for my bf! So if you are interested, check them out!
some examples:
I love this, especially the marshmallows! How sweet!
This simply looks delicious!
Overachiever, anyone? Kidding (mostly)...I'm kind of just jealous of this skill.
BUT...these are adorable, and very doable!
What a great idea these simple cannolis are! (They're supposed to be somewhat healthy too.
And finally, these lollipops just screamed weddingbee to me. Too cute!
Does anyone else love baking as much as I do? (Especially fun, festive desserts?)
