In a few weeks I am asking my three neices to be bridesmaids, they are 7, 8 & 9 and as FIs mum is making their dresses I get to ask them to be bidesmaids and then we can design the dresses together. I’m really excited about it, but not sure if there’s a better/more fun way of asking rather than just ‘do you wanna be my bridesmaids?’ (which I now can’t read without thinking it to the tune of ‘do you wanna build a snow man’!).
When I asked my MOH I just asked her outright as our relationship isn’t based on anything cutesie. But I feel like it’s different with kids and I’d like them to be excited about the whole thing.
Any ideas? :S

I’m thinking something edible, maybe cakes! Maybe you could make a bunch of fairy cakes, decorate them together and tell them what letters to write on each one. After theyve written all the letters on you can rearrange them into the correct order to spell it out or something similar. When I first read your post I was like oh wow and I thought I’d have way more ideas than this because I volunteer with kids! But now I have that frozen song in my head and its so distracting! Haha

OMG! I too now have the frozen song stuck in my head! LOL! Anyway, Etsy sells these cute flower girl rings (or you could get any flower rings really). You can get the girls one by one and get down on your knee with the ring box and pretend like your “proposing” to them and ask “would you be my flower girl”….i thought that would be cute if they get the whole “proposal” thing.

KateA17: I really like the cake idea, but the mum of two of them is a professional cake maker so I think they already get to do a lot of fun cake stuff (and my cakes wouldn’t be as good as hers!) so I may have to keep thinking.
1234sophia: Those are so cute! I was hoping to ask them in a group though, the two sisters especially may be a little sad if one of them goes before the other and I’m not entirely sure they’d get the proposal thing.
