Just wanted to tell you guys a funny story…a couple days before my fiance proposed, I got my first Diamond Candle…burned it and was so excited to get the ring out! My fiance was napping on the couch–turns out that he had picked up my engagement ring a day before and hidden it (this was a few days before Christmas, he proposed Christmas morning).
I pulled the ring out, and went over and woke him up and said, “Oh my God look what I found!!!”…he sat up, white as a ghost and said, “WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT????”…I said, “it’s the ring that came in the Diamond Candle, why?”. He sat back and breathed a sigh of relief and I didn’t think anything of it (I wasn’t expecting a proposal and didn’t know he had been ring shopping).
After he proposed, he started laughing and said, “Now do you realize why I almost had a heart attack when I was half asleep and you showed me the Diamond Candle ring?”…I have attached pictures so you can see why!

Ha thats funny. your ring is really pretty! I have never heard of a diamond candle til I joined the wedding bee. Are the diamonds actually real in the candle??

@s.renea9: The rings are worth between $10 and $5000, it’s like Cracker Jacks–a random ring in every candle so you never know what you get until you open it! You have to burn the candle down to get to the sealed packet that holds the ring. Even just the candle, to me, is worth the $25 cost, it is a big pillar in a nice glass vase and smells awesome. The ring just makes it more fun!
Thanks ladies for the kind words 🙂
@Eva Peron: I just emailed them the story, and that’s what made me think to post it here on the Bee, it’s where I found out about them.
