I think my husband was very excited about the honeymoon but he was pretty picky. There were defintely places I wanted to go but he didnt and he had a set idea of what he wanted. We ended up finding the perfect place for us though. We stayed at an Excellence Resort but in Punta Cana, DR. I would definitely suggest checking out the Excellence Playa Mujeres, the Excellence Resorts are fantastic and have GREAT honeymoon packages!
Ha! Mine has no ides, he thinks we are going to the oregon coast and I actually booked a cruise for us to mexico. The Honeymoon is his b-day present (his b day is a week before the wedding)
@vistagirl- My Fi's bithday is a week beforethe wedding too. I keep telling him that Im his birthday present.
We don't know where we want to go yet, but I think I could show him a picture of any resort and he would want to go there. So I guess I should pick one I like and then show him the website.
My fiance really wants to go to Egypt for our honeymoon. I would love it too cause I am huge history buff. He just really wants to climb a pyramid. 
He's excited about surprising me with it! I have no idea what' it's gonna be...

My FI is super excited about a few things for our wedding: the first dance song, engagement pictures, his cake, and of course the honeymoon! We haven't planned anything yet, but I showed him Mrs. Penguin's review of the Excellence Playa Mujeres.
Now, he is in love with the idea of a private rooftop pool just like I am. He's been googling other resorts with that option. I think he is stuck on going there, finding another resort with private rooftop pool's, or having some sort of private pool/hot tub.
Are your FI's excited about anything about the honeymoon? (other than being on a honeymoon with you- that's a given)
