Oh no! I'm glad this was a funny incident and not an embarrassing one. This happened to a friend of mine once in college. We had a class together and she came in, sat down next to me, and was mortified because her short skirt had been kinda tucked into her underwear!! She'd been walking around like that for a little while, at least. I can't remember if it was only in that building or around campus, but either way, that's pretty bad!
Well, it was the first warm day of the year two weeks ago, and a girl was wearing a dress to dinner at our college cafeteria. Prime time, probably about 800 people there, AT LEAST. She was prancing around, feeling feminine in her floaty spring dress...and her dress was tucked into her tights, which were RIPPED on her upper thigh and butt cheek, such that you could see her light pink thong. :O I had been waiting in line for like ten minutes and couldn't bear to get out of line to tell her...but I hope someone did...
I think everyone's probably done this before, just in more or less public places. I once did this at work when I was sixteen. Had on a summer dress and tucked it into my undies. Fortunately nobody saw it but a coworker, who quickly pointed it out.

That is pretty funny! Maybe your great-grandmother had a hand in that to lighten the mood. :)
I once tucked my skirt into my underwear in a movie theatre bathroom. It was back when those peasant skirts were in, so I thought I had all the flowy material situated correctly. Luckily, while I was washing my hands, some kind stranger called it to my attention (and also lucky that she was the only one out of the stalls at the time).

i went to my great grandmothers funeral today. not funny yet..i know...just wait :D and we had just got back from the semetary and were at my mothers house all eating, morning, reminissing, ect. Well, it rained ALL day and boy did i need to use the restroom. I am not a dress kind of gal but i figured this was good reason to look nice; i was wearing a knee length dress and tights (that came up to my waist). so i get out of the restroom and i feel someone tugging at my butt and busts out laughing! MY DRESS WAS TUCKED INTO MY TIGHTS!!!! AHAHA MY BUTT WAS OUT THERE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY (only two ppl actually saw "the show" though)!!!
thank goodness this was MY SIDE of the family and they are totally chilax and thought it was great! we all had a good laugh, at my expense of course. but hey, if it got my grandma to laugh on such an awful day, no regrets! :D
thats what i get for wearing a dress..i will remember that next time. now just to make it through the wedding without this happening!!!!
