I’ve seen other threads like this but not recently so I thought I’d start another…
So, a couple of days ago we were talking about colors. I try not to be pushy about wedding plans but I was going shopping and needed a color pallate! So I asked my Fiance what color he was interested in for a tux and he said he wanted to wear white (he’s never worn a tux before, having never gone to prom, etc, and hasn’t tried a white one on. I’m hoping he changes his mind!) So then I asked about the other guys. (My two brothers are standing up for me and his one brother and best friend for him) Knowing my favorite color is green and that I said I wanted them to wear green before, he said
“I don’t know but I don’t want my guys to wear green! I just think green tuxes
would look horrible! Can’t they wear the regular black ones?”
He thought that when I said green tuxes, the pants and jacket would be green too! After I stopped laughing I explained that the jacket and pants would be black, just the vest and tie were a color and he said, “Oh. Well I guess that’s okay then”
LOL, I’ve heard of clueless before but green tuxes??

That is funny!
My Fiance has said more things that get under my skin more than things that are funny. I dont get those cute clueless remarks because in my opinion, he is TOO informed and aware of many things wedding.
So instead of funny I have irritating. Here is his response to me talking about reception decor (tables and stuff)
“REALLY? It does not matter what it looks like, people are just going to mess the tables up anyway when they sit down and put their stuff on it and start moving things around. It would only look nice for a minute.”
I wanted to throw a brick at him.

@ORella2012: That is hilarious! My fiance has become pretty involved with wedding plans, but one “funny” moment does come to mind: We were watching the Oscars while talking to each other on the phone, and I said, “Are you getting some tux inspiration?”… He responded with, “Oh no, I know exactly what I want.” in a very serious tone… Since when is he a fashionista? Very funny.

Haha, I’m sure you could find one somewhere! Reminds me of those old school powder blue prom tuxes XD

@ORella2012: whenever i hear of colored tuxes it reminds me of dumb and dumber:

We were previewing the ceremony music, and Canon in D came on…
“this sounds like “friends forever” you know…that song that was overplayed in 2000?”-FI
now all I can picture is vitamin C in the music video “friends forever” whenever Canon in D plays (even though I really wanted to walk down the aisle to it…and it doesn’t sound that similar at all…)

@Lee_Ann: We had 2 guys wear Orange and baby blue tuxes to prom my junior year… I just kept thinking and the tux place would have these in stock why?
But i told Fi i didnt want a mermaid dress i didnt think it would look good on me and he looked completly dumbfounded. Then asked why anyone would dress up as a mermaid for their wedding… I laughed so hard i almost peed myself

Okay, I meant to add (I was tired) that that was the lamest thing my Fiance has said recently. But Fiance actually wanted to wear a top hat and pin stripe suit…BLEH.
I’m not sure WHY I only wrote one half of the post? Or maybe I wrote it and accidently deleted it?

@Heatherloveskenny: Lol, that song derived from Cannon D. But most of today’s popular songs have the same chord progression. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdxkVQy7QLM
