Oh saris are so pretty! my friend had hers made and they lace up in the back. Would a tube dress look good on all your bridesmaids?
The fabric is beautiful and I love that it will be a modern interpretation of a classic sari. The only question is if the shape of the dress will be good for all your maids.
I love the fabric, I think it's a great idea. Even if tube dresses don't look right on all of the girls, if you're having it made, they might be able to do simple variations using the same fabric.
I think they would, I might make it more casual and have smocking with the silk. That way it ends up being a boho sundress later on, which if they don't want I will steal. :) My only issue with smocking is that the pintucks need to have very little fabric. Otherwise it looks like a muumuu. Thanks ladies!

Is that tacky? I'd love to have them in some sort of silk from India, but not a sari.
So I decided to have tea-length tube dresses made out of the below material.
Does it work?
