So as you probably already know, ring shopping for men is one of the most stressful things that can happen during a relationship, or atleast mine. Thank god, I have some slight input from my gf because there are so MANY CHOICES OUT THERE, its almost ridiculous LOL. But a little background:
I’m planning to propose on Valentines Day in 2014 (4th year anniversary) and I know my gf wants a Morganite (main stone) and Diamond Halo Ring after she saw one on Etsy.com. But I need help, I’m having trouble deciding between which shape that will compliment her finger. She has an “unusal” size (according to many Etsy Jewelers who stop at size 7 or 8). Her fingers are also a little pudgey (but they’re super cute :D) But I have found MasterGoldCraft on Etsy that has beautiful jewelry. With that size finger, I’m having trouble deciding if OVAL or SQUARE (Cushion Cut 10 X 8MM or (9MX9M) will compliment her finger.FYI, my budget is 1000-1100 (at most) I think I prefer oval simply because I like the way it looks more than the square. She says “she doesn’t care what shape it is, as long as it is Morganite and Rose Gold” We went to a store in LA Jewelry District, and saw a ring and her eyes lit up (not to sure if she really liked the ring, or was finally able to see it in person since we’ve really only been looking online.) but it wasn’t her size and it would have to be resized (we’ve had some issues with other rings being resized so I would prefer to just order a made to order ring, true to her size) AND it was 1400 dollars (WAY OVER MY BUDGET)
I would prefer to stay over 2 carats!!! I don’t know why, but, it sounds like a magic number. So if you show me listings, please make sure they are in my budget AND not under 2 carats.
I’m thinking of these listings but with a darker pink main stone and in rose gold:
OR this listing for cushion (only in rose gold and a deeper pink):
Are there any women out there with oval or square that have larger fingers that could give me a picture of how it looks! I would really appreciate it!
If you could give me a picture, can you tell me how big the stone is and your finger size.
