Ouch. Have you talked to Fiance about this?

Got to love Facebook. Talk to your Fiance and see what he says. Maybe she just went off of it completely?

Oooh. That’s strange, she sounds very immature. What kind of grown woman unfriends someone who will clearly be in her family?

I’d pretend nothing happened. Ignoring someone (and/or their actions) is the worst insult.

Do you talk about politics on Facebook a lot? If so, that’s definitely a good reason to unfriend you. Better to not know what you’re saying than constantly be offended by it.

My stepmother unfriended me on Facebook. At first I was offended, but then I just didn’t care. It’s not like I really care about what’s on Facebook anyway.

A lot of people would do well to ignore Facebook and anything that happens there completely

Count your blessings.  I WISH DH’s family would stay away from my fb.

@MeiFrancis:  +1. Don’t take it personally. Maybe she just preferred not to see your conflicting political views on FB all the time. I often block people from my news feed when they post a lot of political stuff (regardless of the party) because I just don’t think politics belong of FB.

My main advice is just to ignore it. You don’t have to love your Mother-In-Law, just smile and play nice.

Well she might not know that she could just “hide” you on FB and not see your status updates.  Honestly, that political stuff is really annoying.  I hid each friend of mine who posted anything political more than twice.  But, they don’t know that – but I know how to hide people and not just unfriend them.

@dlbaqua:  What happened, that was “much much much more to this than you knew?”

God, this reminds me of my own family. My cousin posted something racist on her page, I went on there and got into it with her and her friends which were egging it on and now she has deleted me and told me that she never wants to talk to me again. FINE. Really, who the hell needs toxic people like this? Your Mother-In-Law sounds like a white trash twat. FB has really unnerved me, seeing some of the things my cousins/aunts/uncles post. It’s really made me see what kind of people they are and I have no problem cutting them out. Judging by the things your Mother-In-Law said to/about you, I’m thinking you won’t cry too hard over this.
