Wow that’s pretty awesome. I also drive a 2003 and I hate it :(. I swear as soon as I fix one thing another breaks. Do you know if it’s covered if I purchased it through a private seller used?

I bought mine from my grandfather so I got a great deal and it’s paid off but I can’t wait until I can get rid of it! Last year the alternator went and as soon as I fixed that the a/c and heat broke. Now whenever I idle for too long (like at a stoplight!) my car shuts off. Awesome huh? Now I have to be that rude person who is constantly inching up at the light so my car doesn’t die, lol.

I just called and mine doesn’t qualify because of the factory it was built at :(. Too bad but thanks for the info! I’ll let my cousin know because she drives a 2004 focus.

Ford is one brand I would never buy. Get a GM or Honda, hell even a Nissan or Toyota, anything is better than a Ford!

I’ve owned 2 focus’s & 1 was a lease.  My car now is 2004 Focus.  The only problem I have ever had with it is the motor mount.  My husband is a car guru, so the part cost $100 & he did the work.

Cars don’t just fall apart unless they’re a POS lemon.  Wear & tear is natural but maintenance, oil changes & tune-ups are necessary.

@Nicoso:  Ya, when my FI drives it that’s what he does but I hate the sound so I just try to not stop for too long, lol. Our 2004 Taurus runs perfect – it’s just that damn Focus.

I have a 2010 Focus and I love it.  🙂  But I only get repairs done at the dealership.  So if I have anything under warranty, they already know.
