@allinoelle:  It could be because your eyes are slightly different shapes.  My crease is a little different on each eye and when I do winged liquid liner I have to do each eye a bit differently because of where it folds over the lid (if that makes sense).  Each eye looks nice because the liner is placed appropriately for my eye shape, but when you look at them both together they are ever so slightly different.

I find I have to balance between looking in my magnified makeup mirror and the regular mirror to judge if I’m doing the same thing on each eye. It’s hard to tell in the magnified mirror.

I used to have this problem when I first started doing makeup. It still happens on my off days. It gets better as you do your makeup more often and you get to know your eyes. =)

But this used to be me ;P

lol i got so tired of this exact problem that i finally just had eyeliner tattooed (very conservatively, dont worry). if i dont feel like adding any over my tattoo, i can look perfectly fine as it looks like i have applied a thin amount of eyeliner perfectly. but if i want to glam it up, i can add eyeliner as i did before the tattoo and really make it heavy.

@BeeLoveHeart:  YES! haha!

I have a HUGE problem with this sort of thing.  Even if I apply it perfectly symmetrically, I have a slight variation in the amount of lid that shows normally, so it looks like I screwed it up.

Eyes are sisters, not twins. Just make them close enough!
