So I am a yoyo dieter. I lost 80 pounds, only to have gained back almost 50. I am trying to turn it around, but am having so much trouble. That said, I think I have gained 15 pounds since the wedding in May.
Most of my people I have turned to regarding weight, tell me not to size my rings, that I am letting myself do this and gain weight. Well I’m still eating and they’re getting tighter. I have only wore my wedding band about 5 times since the wedding just cause they feel so tight.
Do you think I should just bite the bullet and size them up? I don’t know if it will help me to get my shit together or not.

I say size them!
It is proven that keeping your skinny jeans in your closet is NOT motivation to lose weight and is actually counterproductive and sets you up for failure!
You ring is just like those skinny jeans. Get it sized enjoy it and if you do lose weight it will be a treat to size them again!

@FMM: Thanks….I know I have tons of smaller clothes in my closet, and they never help me to lose weight! The intention is good.. but…

Get your ring sized!!!! Enjoy your ring and plus in the future if you do lose the weight and keep it off then think of how much of an accomplishment to be able and to go get your ring sized down!

Get your ring sized but I would ask if there is a limit to the number of times it can be resized. I think after a certain number of times the gold becomes too soft. You wouldn’t want to ruin your rings.
Try to think about the things that do motivate you and focus on them!! Health is a huge one!

I say size it, especially if you don’t think it’s feasible to lose the weight.
