Why not try calling the Parks and Rec office of your destination?

HI! Congrats on your vow renewal! I think the challenge may be finding a free space. While most public beaches are free of course, the issue is that they are also public. So you really can’t ask or expect people to move to accomodate you. We did a wedding on a beach in Key West, and while the space was free, we had to photoshop the homeless guy sleeping on the picnic table out of all the photos.

I got married in Galveston this past February. We were told that as long as you’re not setting up any equipment (tents, chairs, flowers) then you don’t need a beach permit. If you want to private message me, I can provide you with answers to any specific questions.
