In between the ceremony and reception, we’re going to have a crossword puzzle for everyone to fill out with facts about me and the Mr. I thought it would be a fun idea to make it competitive, so we’re planning on having a small gift for the winner.
My question is: What is an inexpensive, non-gender specific prize we can give to whoever wins?
Thanks in advance 🙂

Food, always food. Something to go with your theme. Or, a gift card to somewhere VERY established nationally. You don’t want your uncle from across the country winning a gift card to a local boutique. Maybe Barnes & Nobles or Amazon or something. Then she/he could shop online!

What about a gift certificate to a chain restaurant (that the majority will have in their home town)??
Everyone loves food!

A gift card to BEST BUY!!

Maybe a gift card to a place like best buy, or target, where there are girl things and guy things? Or something specific to where you live- so the wedding I am guessing is in Michigan, what about something from a local place? LOL all I can think of is like, a big cherry pie, but I’m sure you’re more familiar 🙂

You could get something nice like a bottle of wine and glasses, maybe do a local winery or brewery.

Starbucks gift card? Or I really like the wine gift suggestion!

Well, I fully support the BN gift card since I work there, but Starbucks is always good, or Amazon… maybe a really awesome picnic basket (I have no idea why that popped into my head, but I think everyone needs a good picnic basket with plates and glasses already in there!)

I’m not a coffee fan at ALL so if I won, I’d be a little dissapointed. The same with wine, I LOVE wine but my FI doesn’t. I think you should stick to something that can cater to all ages and lifestyles… BN sounds the best! They can get their coffee fix in the cafe, buy a book or even regift it!

Great suggestions, everyone! 🙂 I think we’ll probably go with the giftcard idea– seems like something everyone would love.
