Aww, that is exciting!  I’m no gardener, but my family’s full of them.

Also, I thought your post was going to say that we should have a Garden Bees generation!  Cuz that’d be cute. : )

Oh I am a huge gardener!  I love it.  I even got my fiance into it.  This year we had all sorts of fancy tomatoes (pink, yellow, white), some green beans, potatoes, cucumber, etc.  It was so much fun.

Now the season’s over where we are (Iowa), but I think when spring comes again I would recommend peas and potatoes and lettuce for the start of it (they can handle a bit of cold), and then tomatoes and beans as it gets a bit warmer.

This year we might even might throw in some flower seeds to add to my bouquet…

I believe Mrs. Snow Pea is quite the gardener.

I also love to garden! I just have an apartment balcony, and even worse, it is north facing, so we get like zero sunlight – but I love to grow shade plants anyways, like fucshias, impatiens, and begonias. For my veggies, I actually participate in a community garden with a friend. This summer was my first summer doing it, and we got lots of zuchinni, roma tomatoes, mescalun greens, basil, and corn.
