Hi ladies! I know I messaged back and forth with @sarahbabs: about this place but I thought I'd post about it here too. We went to look at this place because we wanted an outdoor garden ceremony and an indoor reception. We were really disappointed to be honest. They mostly do sweet sixteens now - very few weddings, and I think I can see why. The prices are tempting, but I would honestly look elsewhere. We had such a hard time finding anything for a garden ceremony upstate, so we just stuck with our original church plan.
Good to know! Thanks for sharing--I left them a message 2 days ago and they haven't returned my call, but now I'm crossing them off my list! Whittling down my list of 25 sites that looked okay online...:)

Alright Hudson Valley brides - I know you're out there! I haven't done a lot of posting myself on these boards yet, but everyone here is so kind and supportive... I couldn't resist! Anyone heard of/been to Garden Cathay (near Newburgh NY). We are looking at the venue as a possibility and I haven't had much luck finding reviews online. Would love to hear about your experiences there (the good and the bad)! Thanks so much :)
