Having a party next week and we wanted to play some games in our backyard. I believe a friend is bringing a beer pong table and I wanted to have some other things as well. I made a cornhole board out of the box our fan came in and made a few bean bags. I was thinking about making a bowling set out of bottles but haven’t decided yet.
I also found games I’m not familiar with but sound really cool like Kubb and Tournament of Knights. Basically involves throwing things at blocks. I’d also love to make a giant Jenga set but not sure how feasible that is. We wouldn’t have a shop table to work on or anything.

This might sound ridiculous, but what about some version of Pin the Tail on the Donkey?
Ok, now that you’ve stopped laughing, let me elaborate:
I work in a pediatric diabetes clinic and every year they have a diabetes camp. One of the games they play is “Pin the Insulin Pump on the Pink Panther” and it is a huge hit! One of the interns has an artistic side and drew a 4 ft tall Pink Panther and the kids got a kick out of it.
You could do a more adult themed one, like… “Pin the Accessory to Carrie Bradshaw” or something like that.
Oh goodness, that sounds lame now that I’ve gone back and read it. I would delete it but I’ve typed it all out now :/ Hope you get some better ideas than this one!

@tmsing: Polish horseshoes is really fun and easy to setup. You can buy a set or make your own. My friend made his own with two PVC pipes. All you need are two poles, two empty beer bottles, and a frisbee. He also got a light up frisbee and glow sticks for the beer bottles to play when it got dark.

@DaneLady: haha, there will be some guys there too. Pin the purse on Carrie Bradshaw would be hilarious though, H HATES Sex and the City.
