@purpleceline: We considered Garden Valley Ranch, in fact I think it was the first venue we looked at. We really liked it and seriously considered it, the only downside for us was that the music had to be off by 9:00 and that was just too early for us to end! Most places make you end by 10:00 which still felt early, but at least we got the extra hour!
We ended up choosing Garden Pavalion and loved it!! Have you seen the thread on here? I started it when we were considering the venue and a group of us have been sharing our experiences. We could not have been happier with every aspect of the venue and I can't even tell you how many compliments we got on just the venue, it was beautiful!
Good luck, you really can't go wrong with either venue (I'm not familiar with the one in Moraga).
@Jaynee: Thanks for your advice! I have seen the thread on Garden Pavilion - and both Garden Valley Ranch and Hacienda de las Flores require music off by 9pm, which is unfortunate! Garden Pavilion is gorgeous but twice the price of Hacienda. Taking the fiance and parents to see all the places this weekend... hopefully that will help us make a decision!

Has anyone gotten married at the Garden Valley Ranch in Petaluma? We are considering it (also looking at Garden Pavilion in Sonoma and Hacienda de las Flores in Moraga) for an all-outdoor ceremony & reception in August.
