So obviously this is a ROUGH (Like for real, super rough, its from paint…) mock-up of the two ideas I have to decorate my alter. The stage is small, and there will be my bridal part (8) the pastor and us so 11 people up there. So the idea was, anything set down on the stage will be hidden by people anyway. So hang something higher! It is a Christmas wedding, colors are red gold and green. BM wearing red, very comfortable and home-y feeling is the vibe we want. Think Southern Living. So which of these (admittedly pathedic) mock ups do you think will look better translated to evergreen and red ribbon?

I vote garland.
I also vote, on an unrelated note, that somebody somewhere needs to have a MS Paint themed wedding.

@Beluga: Thanks. And I feel like that would be awful and incredible…all at once.

I think the wreaths would look great, but the garland wil provide a nice frame to the wedding party.

I say both but I’m a decoration whore.

I voted the garland. That way the focus can be more on the two of you- framed, like julies1949 said.

I love the idea of framing with garland! =)

Garland with two Skinny trees on each side of the cross with HUGE poinsettas in the branches.
