They say deodorant works well too. Or baby powder. I’m in the thigh rub club but didn’t do anything under my dress and didn’t notice it at all thankfully.

SkinnyLatte17:  Bodyglide. Runners use it to prevent chafing.

Or, pettipants. It’s a half slip divided into pants.

Spanx.  They smooth everything out and prevent the dreaded and painful ‘chub rub’.

That’s what I did anyway!

Spanx. Or a cheaper version of them.

Actually, cheaper versions are better in this case because you’re not buying for the “size control” aspect.

Buy a pair one size larger than is recommended on the packaging. They’ll go on and off easily, protect your thighs from the “rub,” and won’t add any bulk under clothes. I use them all the time in the summer under dresses.

SkinnyLatte17:  Ugh, Chub rub is the devil!!! I have a lovely pair of lululemon running shorts (slim fitting), that I wear under all skirts. I wore spanx under my wedding dress, but the boning ended right at the middle of my problem area so I needed a little extra support that day 🙂

I used deodorant and it worked great.

I wore shorts like Spanx but not nearly so tight, which was much more comfy. I had a ball gown so I didn’t need to be sucked in – just avoid thigh rub. It worked great. I have also tried deodorant and it works pretty well.

I used Gold bond powder. I still do with dresses now in the summer time.
