My vote is for Gatekeepers. I got married last year in September and it was perfect! We had the site for the entire day, so setting up was not a problem. We were able to dance until about 10pm and then moved the after party to the bar at sunnyside.

I saw a thread potsed about a year ago regarding this same question, but was wondering if there are any new opinions?
I recently got engaged and am trying to plan my wedding for next year- while most of the spaces for summer Tahoe weddings are already gone, we thought an early Sept. wedding would be lovely! That being said, we are currently debtating between Gatekeeper and Ehrman mansion. Because of the logistical issue that is Ehrman (setup allowed no earlier than 330 pm), and I would like to have hard alcohol at my reception (also not allowed at Ehrman), I wanted to split my venue between there and Tahe Treehouse Company- however, they do not allow a ceremony-only as an option on Saturday (is this new??). I considered having my entire wedding (ceremonly plus reception) there, but on top of it all, CAN NOT GET AHOLD OF MICHELLE. To save my life. Three emails, 2-3 phone calls/ day (I only leave 1 message every other day)- and I have gotten 1 short, terse email in return. I think this facility is beautiful, but am now really turned off by how difficult it has already been. Has anyone else had similar frustrations?
On the other hand, Gatekeeper is easier to deal with, logistically much less of a nightmare, I can have hard alcohol and is quite pretty, but is just not as beautiful as Ehrman.
Has anyone else had their wedding at either location/ have any advice? Honestly, we love both places, and would be happy at either, but somehow I just can't let got of Ehrman Mansion...
