I think it depends on your style.  Is it comfortable?  Do you love it?  It isn’t my style (I couldn’t deal with how it felt on my hand) but that doesn’t mean it isn’t perfect for you.

@BlueEnvy0316:  well, I’ll be honest: I think the size of it makes it look kind of…ridiculous. And I’m usually in the camp of bigger is better haha. I think if it was brought down just a few sizes it would be beautiful. Can you maybe just talk to him and tell him how you feel? You should love the ring you have to wear for forever.

@mrspinesol:  ooh…unfortunately I agree. I would be honest with my FI.

@BlueEnvy0316:  Yeah that’s a bit much.  I think a redesign is in order.

@BlueEnvy0316:  It is quite a large statement ring.  I think you have a great idea with the side stones and it would be beautiful with just the blue centre stone on an plain band.  Let that stone be the the showstopper!

Yah I’m sorry, I’m not a fan. If you aren’t either… be honest and tell him. You have to wear this for the rest of your life, you should love it! It might go over better if you tell him you want something smaller and more practical for everyday wear, instead of saying you don’t like it.

@mrspinesol:  +1

i think life would be hard with a ring that size! Get in the way of everything! Maybe make the suez stones smaller or get a new smaller ring for everyDay wear and bring that one out for special occasions

@BlueEnvy0316:  instead of telling him it’s not to your taste Wait a week (fiddling with it all the time) then tell him the side Stones are uncomfortable and your fingers hurt (probably legitimate) and could you please have the side stones made into earrings?  Spare his feelings, get more jewelry! Win/win.

Maybe you could ask him about getting it re-set, I think it would look better with just the center stone, and maybe the side stones could be made into a pair of earrings?

Way to big. Maybe have the stones cut down or sold for smalle stones, but similar design?

Yeah, I think that passes into gaudy territory. I would reset the center stone (maybe in a halo?) and use the side stones for something else.
