So the fiance and I are getting married in a castle of sorts with lovely high ceilings and chandeliers, suits of armor, etc. We both like different fantasy things and I would love to somehow incorporate it into the wedding possibly in seating, drinks, whatever. Think Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Magic, Disney princesses, etc. Need some ideas.

Table names: Rivendale, the Shire, Hogsmead, Platform 9 3/4, Winterfell, Cair Paravel, etc
There are a huge number of nerdy mixed drinks, no idea how good any of them are but they are everywhere.
Also, using some of the more distinct fonts on paper goods is a more subtle nod.

Go check out offbeat bride, it’ll be perfect for you to get ideas. We are doing a comic book theme.

Another idea for table names could be couples from fantasy books – Ron & Hermione, Khal Drogo & Daenerys, Aragorn & Arwen etc.
Or if you did Disney Princesses you could have a table sign with a distinctive feature of that princess, eg. Ariel’s purple bra, an apple for Snow White, a long blonde plait for Rapunzel.

Check out Offbeat Bride. They have a lot of stuff along those lines.

So many Batman ideas are popping into my mind!! Lol
Like any comics?
I wish I could find the pic, I have it saved on my laptop somewhere for a friend when she (finally lol) gets engaged but I have a Harry Potter inspiration board. But you could have the tables named instead of numbered, like Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. The kids table could be the the “muggle” table. You could use the Sorting Hat with the seating chart
The favors could be given in broomstick baggies
Im trying to think of what Platform 9 3/4 could be used for…Maybe a photo booth? Or the recieving line?

Your bridesmaids could wear the princesses’ dresses
