My FI was thinking of action-figures for ours.. also I’m making them lego-cufflinks.

I second the “what kind of geeky” question.

To echo PPs, what kind of geeky?

http://www.thinkgeek.com has tons of great stuff in a variety of price ranges.

If you tell us what geeky things they are into I might be able to suggest something 🙂

For our groomsmen we did geeky cufflinks geared to their interests . They loved them!

@MrsFutureG:  custom USB keys? Lol

Custom iPad/iPhone covers? Swiss Army knives or multitools? Wallet or money clip? You could engrave these wih the logo of their fav superhero, etc.

@NLbride:  custom USB keys? Lol

This!!!  You can get a small Swiss Army knife with a USB drive in it and have it engraved. (6 characters on one side, 10 on the other). Engrave names, usernames (many geeky folk have a standard name they use), whatever.

http://www.swissknifeshop.com/victorinox-signature-slim-usb  This isn’t the Victorinox site (who makes the Swiss Army knives we all know and love … ok maybe just some of us lol) … but it’s a great shop my dad and I have used for years and they are way cheaper!

The only down side is they only come in 4 or 8gb… which isn’t bad, just not high end. Like not big enough to put Linux on but big enough to hold a couple thousand songs.

It has the knife blade, file with small flat head screwdriver end, scissors, tweezers, and a retractable pen! $39 and free shipping from the store I linked for the 8gb version (4gb is $33 but I’d get the 8gb).

Oh, and the USB drive actually detaches from the knife, but is held firmly in place. You have to sort of open the USB part to 90 degrees, push in and pull up towards that end of the knife.  So you don’t have to worry about the whole thing hanging off a usb port, but it won’t just fall off either.  I know these things because I recently got one. 😀

Have you looked at thinkgeek? they have stuff for Doctor Who, Marvel, Star Wars, video games, and science/math nerd stuff. My fiancee wants so many things on that site. USB devices, mugs/glasses, and a bunch of just plain randomness.

@GeekChic:  I second this. My fiance is totally geek chic and I always buy his gifts on this thinkgeek.com. They have AMAZING geeky gifts on there.

I know you said no to cufflinks so that most likely means that they won’t use these either, but just in case, what about a geeky ring? Check out this thread that was going on yesterday:

http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/they-really-have-a-ring-for-every-person#axzz2UYb3iUrW

You’ll have to scroll to the middle to reach the “boy” rings but they are there.

Secondly, what about charactertures of them as their favourite super hero?

Oooooh! I know, I know, I know!!!!!!!!!!

NERF GUNS!!!! They can play nerf in the morning before the wedding. Perhaps give each guy a different type within the same price range to keep it interesting.
